A Pineoblastoma is a very rare and aggressive primary brain tumor that develops in the pineal gland near the center of the brain. Rolan’s tumor is found to be in an inoperable area. He has undergone radiation treatments and chemotherapy treatments and will continue with the chemotherapy treatments for a grand total of 55 weeks at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Rolan has a long road ahead of him with no clear answers as to his prognosis.
